God of War IV in the Works?
While an official announcement of the game’s existence is still pending from Sony, God of War IV seems a certain thing. BT Games, a South African retailer, has listed the title as available for pre-order. The game will apparently ship in February 2013, but this is very likely incorrect (BT Games has been careful to list the date as provisional, and subject to change). Though no additional details are available at this time, rumors have been circulating that the new game might feature a multiplayer campaign.
Amazing Spider-Man Street Date
In advance of the Amazing Spider-Man’s big-screen release this summer, Beenox’s video game adaptation of the same name is set for release on June 26th. Featuring the same “free roam” mechanic as many of the Spider-Man video games that have come before, The Amazing Spider-Man serves as an epilogue for its film counterpart. The game will have versions on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, 3DS, DS, and Wii.

NBA Live Returns
The newest NBA Live, which will re-ignite a franchise that has been dormant since 2009, is on its way from EA Sports. Called NBA Live 13, the game was announced via tweet, where Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers was shown playing on his console. No other details were given at press time.
AMD & Sony Partnership Rumors
Though Sony has been quick to quash any rumors that the PlayStation 4 is on its way, the big business surrounding its development keeps spilling over the edges. According to Forbes, multinational semiconductor company AMD is being given the opportunity to build the new console’s processor. In a way, this would put Sony in the same corner as the Xbox 360, since it also runs on a processor custom-built by AMD. Sony has neither confirmed nor denied involvement in any future console-generation development.

Players must fight their way through Harley’s henchmen and can enjoy all new gameplay, using Batman’s Batarangs in a timed showdown.”
Medal of Honor News
The successor to 2010’s Medal of Honor has finally been given its full press release, where it has been ousted with the title Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Danger Close, the studio that took up development duties on the previous game, will be returning for Warfighter. Set for release in October, it will run on the same engine as Battlefield 3 (Frostbite 2), and will narratively involve the adventures of Tier 1 Operators.

Tribes Ascend opens to the Public
While the closed beta for free-to-play shooter Tribes Ascend has been in circulation for some time, it has finally been opened for public consumption. Hailed as “the fastest shooter currently on the market” by IGN, the PC title is being compared to League of Legends in that you can buy items with either real money, or in-game currency.
