The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale – Fight Card Update
Fists will fly as heavyweight strikers Shane Del Rosario and Pat “HD” Barry have verbally agreed to fight on the Ultimate Fighter Finale December 15th. The event is headlined by TUF 16 coaches Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin. Barry was an assistant coach for Team Carwin on the season and the event will also feature the season finalists vying for the UFC contract.

“K-1 WORLD MAX 2012 FINAL 8” Announced
K-1 is proud to announce the finals of the K-1 WORLD MAX 2012 series, the K-1 WORLD MAX 2012 FINAL 8. The previous event, K-1 WORLD MAX 2012 Final 16 was held on May 27th of this year in Madrid, Spain. K-1 WORLD MAX 2012 FINAL 8 will be held at the Olympic Indoor Sports Center OAKA in Athens, Greece on Saturday, December 15th, 2012.
The 8 chosen finalists from K-1 WORLD MAX 2012 Final 16 in Madrid will compete in a one day tournament for the grand prize of $300,000. The runner-up will receive $100,000 and two second runner-ups $50,000 each for a total cash prize of $500,000. Fighter names and match-ups will be announced soon.

UFC 155: dos Santos vs. Velasquez II – Fight Card Update
The lighter weight classes will be on display at UFC 155 on December 29, as three more bouts have been verbally agreed to for the UFC’s year-end event. In a featherweight clash between two of the 145-pound division’s best, Erik Koch battles Ricardo Lamas, with the winner likely emerging as the clearest threat to champion Jose Aldo’s title.
Plus, England’s Brad Pickett, fresh from back-to-back finishes of Damacio Page and Yves Jabouin, will get another tough test in former WEC bantamweight boss Eddie Wineland, and up and comers at 135, Erik Perez and Byron Bloodworth, meet in a preliminary matchup.

M-1 Challenge 35 – Fight Card Update
12 years of professional MMA experience, 52 fights, 16 KO/TKO victories and only 2 TKO losses – one of the most active European fighters Ivica Truscek will take on the former M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Artiom Damkovsky at M-1 Challenge 35 in St.-Petersburg, in the fight where absolutely anything can happen.
Croatian lightweight/welterweight fighter Ivica Truscek is the man who literally is ready to fight anybody, anywhere, anytime. Very friendly outside the ring and absolutely fearless inside it, Truscek fought 10 times in the last year and six times in 2012. One of the fights happened at M-1 Challenge 33 tournament in Ingushetia, Russia. After three very close and entertaining rounds Ivica lost by split decision against the local fighter Muhammed Aushev in the fight that was considered the best fight of the night. This time Croatian warrior is going to come back home with the victory.
Artiom Damkovsky is a very well-known fighter to all Russian MMA fans. Artiom became the first M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the memorable battle against Austrian striker Mairbek Taisumov. The first title defense was unsuccessful for Artiom – he lost by TKO to American talent Jose Figueroa – but then, nine months later Belorussian muay thai specialist avenged this loss and got contender fight with young Tschechien fighter Musa Khamanaev. Unfortunately for Damkovsky, this fight turned into a one-sided beating for him, but now completely recovered striker from Belarus is ready to start his new wining streak.

UFC on FOX: Henderson vs. Diaz – Fight Card Update
Two new lightweight bouts have been added to the UFC on FOX fight card taking place in Seattle December 8. An injury has forced Rafaello Oliveira out of his planned bout, so TUF season winner and Washington state’s Michael Chiesa has verbally agreed to take on Marcus LeVesseur, who’s coming off a UFC on FX 5 win in his own hometown of Minneapolis.
Also at lightweight, dynamic striker Yves Edwards and submission specialist John Cholish will meet. Edwards was recently left all dressed up with no one to fight when he suited up for his planned UFC on FX 5 bout against Jeremy Stephens, who was unable to compete due to legal troubles.

One FC Delays Next Event Until 2013
According to mmafighting.com, One FC has decided not hold its planned December One FC 7 event. Here is what and official for the company told the website:
“The promotion has scrapped a planned December event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, due to lack of venue options and availability. The same official said the decision was not a financial one.
As a result, the Singapore-based promotion is now planning a big event in February, and they are expected to hold a press conference in early December to announce more details. The promotion was planning on kicking off a flyweight tournament in December.”
